Mrs. Kristi Nanke

“This is my ninth year teaching at INCA.  My husband, Kent, and I have three children, who are all Isaac Newton graduates.  When our children started school, I finished my education at UNI, and began my position here.

“The majority of my time is spent teaching.  I have every student at the Academy in the computer lab for a class at least once during the week.  I use a curriculum that I put together, that I think allows for maximum creativity as well as very practical applications.  The remainder of my time is spent helping to maintain the computer systems throughout the school, updating the website, and working on the yearbook.

“I am passionate about teaching children the Biblical Christian Worldview on every area of life because I believe our students need to be prepared for the spiritual challenges and attacks against their faith that all Christians face living in a fallen world.  It is vital that our children understand why they believe what they believe!  I try to bring this information into computer classes as I teach them how to properly research and put together presentations.”
