Bible/Worldview

Last year, the junior high began a new Bible curriculum geared toward helping students develop a Biblical worldview in all areas of life.  The curriculum, called “Lightbearers”, is from Summit Ministries.  (Check them out at www.Summit.org)  When it is fully implemented, the sixth grade focus will be on Comparative Religions, and the seventh and eighth grades will study a variety of topics through the lens of the Bible, from evolution and ethics, to law and philosophy.  We believe it is imperative that we train students to be able to discern truth based on the Word of God, from secular humanism, new age philosophies, and the other false teachings prevalent in the world today.  Most of our graduates will attend public high school after graduating from Isaac Newton; that makes our mission that much more important.
