Mr. Ridder has a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and has continuing education in Biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute. He has also continued his education in the area of Biblical worldview integration.

Since 2000, he has served on accreditation teams for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), evaluating schools for accreditation throughout the Midwest. He holds both his Professional Administrator’s Certificate and his professional Educator’s Certificate from ACSI in addition to his Iowa licensure.

A former math teacher, the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics awarded Mr. Ridder its Teacher of Distinction Award in 2003 for his outstanding contributions to school and community through excellent mathematics teaching.

Mr. Ridder and his wife, Jolene, have three children, two boys and a girl.

“Isaac Newton Christian Academy is an excellent school,” said Mr. Ridder. “I hold the faculty and the staff of this school in the highest regard. It is a privilege to serve such a great community of families.”

Some of the areas that Mr. Ridder is focusing on include pursuing ACSI accreditation in addition to the existing State of Iowa accreditation. “Isaac Newton Christian Academy is an outstanding school. It will be great to receive the stamp of approval from ACSI to affirm our program, but also to help us improve in key areas.”

Mr. Ridder places a high priority on the Christ-like character development of our students.  "It is our desire that graduates of Isaac Newton Christian Academy are not only known for their advanced academic abilities, but also by their distinctively Christian conduct, and by how they treat others."
