Administration
Isaac Newton Christian Academy
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Position: Administrator

Isaac Newton Christian Academy is seeking an experienced administrator with visionary and management abilities to lead our multi-denominational evangelical Christian school. For the past 20 years, we have been coming alongside Christian families in developing Christlike character and academic excellence in their children. Our passion is in developing children with a Biblical worldview and establishing the next generation of Christian leaders. We currently have approximately 240 students in preschool through 8th grade, representing over 40 churches. The Academy is accredited by the State of Iowa and is a member of ACSI.

The administrator is responsible to the Board of Directors for the day-to-day operations of the school. He/she works collaboratively with the Board in carrying out the mission of the school. The ideal candidate will be an excellent mentor and support to the teaching staff, with an inspirational leadership style. The candidate should be an effective communicator, and have strong business acumen and fiscal responsibility for proposing and managing the yearly budget.

The candidate must be committed to the mission of Christian education with an emphasis on Biblical worldview, and able to fully embrace and support our Statement of Faith.  He/she must be a spiritually mature, actively worshipping member of a doctrinally compatible church. Previous teaching experience and a Master’s degree is required. Obtaining licensure as an Administrator in the State of Iowa must be obtained upon hiring.   Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer an excellent compensation package worth $65,000-$85,000 including salary, IRA and family health care coverage.

Detailed information can be found in the Opportunity Profile.  If you are interested in applying, the Opportunity Profile, application form and the professional and pastoral reference forms (please provide three of each) can be accessed below.  Questions may be directed to Adminsearch@incaonline.org.
