Praise and Petitions:  September, 2007

Praise

1.  For the great start of the new year, with 242 students.

2.  For our new physical education facilitator, Sarah Taylor.  A PE facilitator has been a long standing prayer request!

3.  For the new ceilings, lights, and whiteboards in some of the classrooms.

Petitions

 1.  For the upcoming Apple Pie fundraiser.  Pray for efficiency in the weeks leading up to pie production, that we would reach our goal of 6,000 pies, and that each student would be a living testimony of  God’s love as they reach out to friends and neighbors while they sell and deliver pies. Also, pray that we get enough volunteers for all the tasks and shifts, so that nobody bears undue burden.

 2.  Pray for Dr. Mary Lehner as she leads the teachers, interacts with the students, and builds relationships with parents. 

 3.  Pray for each teacher, for energy on the job, and that the Spirit of God would refresh and encourage them as they build into the lives of the students.

4.  Pray for the LCEA Board of  Directors as they set direction and priorities for the school for the coming year. 

5.  Pray for the projects that await funding:  for help in discerning priorities, and for interest on the part of current and potential donors.

 6.  Pray that those watching us in the community would detect that at Isaac Newton, we seek to glorify God and to exalt Him above all else.
