Winter, 2007
Nick Appleby (INCA class of 2000) is in Ghana for a month this summer, working at a medical clinic. Nick just completed his third year as a pre-med student at Greenville College in Illinois. His sister Christine (INCA Class of 2003) graduated this spring from Washington High School, as a valedictorian. She received a scholarship to attend University of Northern Iowa, where she will pursue a degree in Communicative Disorders. Christine will be rooming with Becky McDaniel, another 2003 INCA graduate, who was also a Washington valedictorian this year. Becky received a scholarship to UNI, in their social and behavioral sciences department.
Summer, 2007
Pastor Greg Judy, an INCA junior high teacher from 1990-1999, is currently the assistant pastor at Jonesville Baptist Church The address is 421 Adrian St. Jonesville, Michigan 49250. He remarried in 2003, to Virginia (Muse) Judy. Four of Greg’s five children attended INCA. Ben Judy (who served in Iraq), now lives in Texas and is getting married this month. Elizabeth (Judy) Ives and her husand attend New Tribes Mission School and have two sons, Josiah and Judah Joel. Jonathan is in the Air Force and was recently married. James lives at home and will be a high school freshman. Landon Cassill, 17, who attended Isaac Newton through the 7th grade, recently signed with NASCAR’s Hendrick Motorsports! One of the youngest drivers ever to be signed, Landon has moved to North Carolina where he tests race cars (up to 180-190 mph!), practices pit stops with the crew, works on car preparation, and learns more about other aspects of NASCAR driving! Landon is the son of Roger and Colleen Cassill, and the big brother of Echo, a 5th grader at Isaac Newton.
Spring, 2007
David Starks, INCA Class of ’96, will complete his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University next moth. He will be moving to Minneapolis to work for 3M. His younger sister Kathleen, also an INCA grad, is a student at Kirkwood studying medical coding.

Ryan Veldhuizen, INCA Class of 2000, will graduate from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana next month. Ryan took just three years to earn his Bachelors of Arts in Economics. He has received an Orr Fellowship and will be working with City Securities Corporation, and will be relocating to Indianapolis. His brother Nathan (INCA Class of ‘03 is a senior at Washington High School, and at 6’7”, is planning to play basketball at the college level next year. Sister Rebekah will graduate from Isaac Newton in May.
Winter, 2007
Former students Greg Westrom, INCA Class of 2000 (Washington Class of ’04) and his sister Stephanie, who attended INCA for elementary school (Washington Class of ’06) have been busy making Isaac Newton proud! Greg continues to coach the INCA varsity girls basketball team, (who soundly won their season opener against Trinity!), and also coached them as a Salvation Army League Team this winter. Stephanie, graduate from Washington in ’06, and is attending the University of Iowa on a full Presidential Scholarship. She entered the University as a junior, and is also among a select group of students who were admitted directly into Tippie School of Business.
