The Isaac Newton Christian Academy Endowed Fund

In the spring of 2007, the Academy opened the Isaac Newton Christian Academy Endowed Fund at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.  When money is given to the Endowed Fund, it is invested by the GCRCF.  The principal gift remains intact; the interest, up to 5%, is available for the school to spend.  For example:  a $1,000,000 endowment would mean about $50,000 per year for the school.  We anticipate that the Endowed Fund will be built primarily through estate planning vehicles.  If you would like more information on making a gift to the Endowed Fund, please contact Kathryne Oates, Director of Community Relations and Development, at 362-9512.
