We hold three major fundraisers each year, which raise in excess of $120,000 for the school’s operating fund and special projects.
Newton’s Pies
Each autumn, the school makes and sells thousands of fresh-frozen, ready to bake Dutch Apple Pies, and Triple-Berry Pies. It is not only a major fundraiser, but also a time of fellowship for Isaac Newton families and friends. The reputation of these delicious pies is well-known. Students take pie orders throughout September, and we make the pies in late October. We will gather in late October to make around 8,000 pies. You can order your pies now! Go to our home page to get started!
Annual Banquet
The Isaac Newton Annual Banquet is a wonderful time of celebrating Christian Education and what the Lord continues to do at the Academy. Current and former parents of students, our donors, and alumni gather for this special fundraising dinner. The next banquet will be held on Thursday, April 7, in the Grand Ballroom of the Collins Road Marriott.
Serve-and-Walk-A-Thon
Our Serve-and-Walk-A-Thon (the SWAT Team) is a service oriented fundraiser, where students participate in a special day of service, working on projects at school and in the community. The younger grades also hold a walk-a-thon that day.
Students send out support letters to family contacts from coast to coast, asking for sponsorship for the event. Funds from SWAT go toward the annual operating fund as well as other special projects. Some of the funds from SWAT 2010 were allocated toward Project Playground, which was completed in July, 2010.
