Middle school students from each grade are elected by their classmates twice each year to represent them on the student council.  The council meets every Wednesday.  In the fall, they plan and organize "See You at the Pole", a middle school Bible retreat, school spirit activities, and the Thanksgiving formal.  They also organize a Christmas bake sale to fund "Heifer International".  In the spring, they plan another Bible retreat (or two, depending on the year), offer more spirit day events and opportunities, put together a fundraiser for Compassion International or another organization, plan and organize an academic bowl for the middle school, and plan and organize the middle school "field day" events in May.  Mrs. Lorraine Potter is the Student Council faculty advisor.
