More Time for Christlike Character

As we enter into a new school year, we are turning our attention to hopeful expectation. In our summer 2025 edition of Relationships, Dr. Ridder captured the heart behind that focus.

“As a community, we are invited into a year of hopeful expectation—trusting that God will do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Let us come together with hearts ready to support, encourage, and uplift one another as we pursue excellence rooted in faith. I encourage every family, student, and staff member to lean into this year with a spirit of unity, grace, and joy. May we continue to build a school culture where Christ is at the center of all we do, and may this year be marked by growth, connection, and a deeper sense of purpose as we follow Him together.”

Our Director of Spiritual Formation, Mr. Schoon, recently shared that he is also looking forward to this school year with hopeful expectation. Visit his article to find out more!

In order to accelerate the process, Isaac Newton Christian Academy Upper School is making several alterations to the academic schedule and corresponding day-to-day routines for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Academic Excellence in the Fine Arts

We are striving for Excellence in the Fine Arts!  This year had many firsts, and many achievements.  One of my goals as a teacher is to teach them everything I can while in school, but also to send them out to experience what happens with other students in the area, and under new conductors.  We experienced many of these opportunities throughout our fine arts department.

A Look at our Resource Program

Developing Christlike character and academic excellence requires both high expectations and high support for students. Having high expectations but low support can cause frustration, discouragement, and failure. Having high support but low expectations can cause apathy, dependence, and underperformance. We designed our resource program to work alongside teachers and parents in providing that high support to our students.
