Growing in Christlike Character

At Isaac Newton Christian Academy, we believe that the call to invest in and educate the next generation extends beyond academics. Central to our mission is developing Christlike character. I may be biased, but I also believe it is intentional that it is listed first in our mission statement. We are part of a higher calling here, and our hope is to see our students’ faith grow and develop over their time here.

We have several things we do as a school to help nurture our students’
spiritual lives. We have a biblical worldview integration approach to education where we believe God can be a part of every subjects’ content matter and not just reserved for Bible class. We worship and learn together at chapel every Friday. It is an intentional space where we can pause as a school and just seek Jesus. Throughout the school year, teachers submit entries into students’ personal Faith Journey accounts online and into their yellow spiritual folders. Their online profiles allow parents to be able to get more instant feedback on how their children are doing, and the folders can end up being a nice gift upon their completion at Isaac Newton Christian Academy, and they can look back at their journey during their time here. Additionally,
We have a Patriot of the Week announced every Friday at chapel to celebrate someone who has shown their Christlike character at school.

These are just a few of the things that we do to help grow Christlikeness in our community. We believe that each of these things really can help make a difference in a student’s spiritual life during their time here.
